On 3^rd of November 2020, the WEgate Community Council members got together to discuss the circumstances and key barriers for women entrepreneurship development in Europe. The Council is the steering group of the WEgate Community acting as a voluntary, informal joining of key stakeholders operating in the different fields of women’s entrepreneurship support.

The first online gathering was focused on sharing experiences and practise, updating the membership with the latest developments within the WEgate community as well as discussing the key messages to be conveyed during the upcoming 2020 WEgate annual summit (10^th of December). A joint call for action was agreed, announcing the need for more systematic changes at policy and institutional levels for the benefit of enhanced strategic planning, more inclusive financing & funding programmes and digital transformation.
