SPECTARIS is the German industry association for the high-tech medium-sized business sector and the representative body for various sectors, such medical and optical technologies, and analytical, biological, ophthalmic and laboratory devices. The association counts around 400 German member companies, grouped in four sectors: consumer optics, photonics and precision technology, medical technology and analytical, bio and lab equipment. SPECTARIS promotes industry interests and acts as a link between politics, economics, science and the media. It helps its members to access finance and secure international contacts. SPECTARIS also offers its members access to a set of standards.
