The Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Centre of Armenia provides state support to the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The centre aims to increase dialogue between SMEs and the Armenian government, increase efficiency and competitiveness, promote research and development and expand the activities of Armenian SMEs abroad. The website includes a list of banks and financial organisations which provide loans and funding to SMEs.

Additionally, individuals can apply to the centre for training in start-ups, business development and international marketing. The centre also hosts the Enterprise Europe Network, which advises on business opportunities and European Union (EU) legislation relating to particular policy sectors. Through its consultative work, the network aims to facilitate Armenian access to the European market.
