Instytut Spawalnictwa – Institute of Welding (Poland)

The Institute of Welding (Instytut Spawalnictwa), established in 1945, is a leading research organisation in Poland devoted to welding technology and developments, including the joining of metals, thermoplastics and thermal cutting. Its mission is to develop know-how and support the industry through to ensure the quality and competitiveness of welded products destined for Polish and foreign markets. The institute organises seminars and training sessions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that seek to transfer knowledge of particular welding standards to businesses.
